Dear Morgan Elementary Families,
It is with the utmost excitement that I welcome you all to the 2022-2023 school year. We are thrilled to welcome you back home! Over the last two years, we have been through difficult times and have endured unprecedented circumstances as a community. We want you to rest assured that your Morgan administration, teachers, and staff are here to assist you in any way possible.
We believe communication is the key to every successful partnership, so we would like to encourage all of our parents to join us via REMIND 101 app so that you may remain informed about the exciting things happening here at Morgan. This is the most effective way to communicate with your child's teacher, receive important updates, and message me, your principal, Mr. Vara!
As we head into the second-year-post-pandemic, we want to assure you that the well-being of our students is at the helm of all we do. Our student body showed how powerful they truly are by adopting the technological skills needed to navigate their learning from home. Upon their return to the classroom, our vision was to continue integrating these skills into their learning and , along with other proven teaching methods, adopt a curriculum that makes us proud to call ourselves a Morgan STEAM School. We aim to prepare our students for the fast-paced changing advancement of our digital world and provide our students with lessons in coding, robotics, Google Suite, and Digital Stories. We also remind our kiddos to be patient with themselves and implement a growth mindset. We teach them to celebrate their small successes and to believe in the power of "Yet."
Here at Morgan, we want our students to have fun and build memories that will last a lifetime. This year we have planned many extracurricular activites for our kiddos, including after-school clubs and assemblies.
