Our Safety Intervention Officers here at Carter High School consists of a team of 5 officers and one lead officer with a total of 55 years combined experienced with RUSD. Our officers number one priority at Carter is the safety of students, staff and visitors. All of our officers are trained in multiple prevention, intervention and support program deigned to ensure safety and well-being for all students. Some programs our officers provide are:

NCTI - Drug, alcohol and gang prevention classes

Boys council

Girls Circle

Mental health and wellness progam as well as Suicidie Prevention.

As a reminder, our team of officers are not only on campu to deal with disciplinary actions with our students, but they are on our campus to be able to provide mentorship, guidance, and to be a role model to our students.
