Welcome Boyd Bulldogs to the 2023-2024 school year!

Dear parents and guardians,

 It is with great pleasure and excitement that I write to introduce myself as the new Principal of Boyd Elementary.  My name is Diocelina Van Belle, and I am truly honored to join this beautiful school, working alongside a team of dedicated educators and staff, to provide the best learning experience for our scholars.

Let me take this opportunity to share a little about my background and journey in education. I have been an educator for 27 years, with a strong commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.  My passion for education has led me to various educational roles.  I have served as an elementary teacher, English Learner coach, and acting principal before joining this incredible community.

As the new Principal, my foremost priority is the well-being and academic growth of our students. I believe that education is not just about academics but also about nurturing the students' social and emotional development. Together with the talented team of teachers and staff, I am dedicated to creating an environment where every student feels safe, valued, and inspired to reach their full potential.

I am excited about the journey ahead and look forward to partnering with all of you in shaping a bright and successful future for our students. Together, we will continue to build a school community where every child is empowered to flourish.
