Dear Kordyak Elementary School Students, Families, Teachers, and Community,
I am thrilled to introduce myself as the new Principal of Kordyak Elementary School. It is an honor to have the opportunity to lead a school known for its high-performing students, dedicated staff, and supportive parents and community. Together with our outstanding teachers and staff, I am committed to building upon the excellence of our young scholars.
My initial goals are two-fold: to foster a strong school culture and to provide instructional leadership that moves every student closer to career and college readiness each day. We will focus on equipping our students with the skills necessary for success in school, future careers, and college. I believe that authentic literacy and mathematical reasoning are the common threads that tie all of these goals together. Our students will be reading, writing, speaking, reasoning, and solving problems every day in all of their classes. These skills are essential for every student to achieve success in their future endeavors.
Successful schools thrive on regular communication and strong community and parent partnerships. As the saying goes, “It takes a village.” I am grateful in advance for your partnership in helping our students achieve excellence. We will work together to ensure that each student develops a solid academic foundation and positive character traits in preparation for their future education.

Volunteering at Kordyak
For information on how to apply to become a volunteer for Kordyak, please view the flyer attached. This must be done on a YEARLY basis so even if you had completed this last school for the 2023-24 school year, it must be done again for the 2024-25 school year.

RUSD Free Tutoring Services
Rialto Unified School District is now offering FREE in-person tutoring at 9 official hub schools located in the North, Central and South regions of Rialto. Online tutors will also be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week through Varsity Tutors. View the flyer attached for more information.
