Dear Myers Elementary Families,

Welcome to the 2025–2026 school year!

It is with great gratitude and excitement that I begin my second year as the proud principal of Myers Elementary. Serving this incredible school community continues to be an honor, and I look forward to building upon the momentum we established together last year.

At Myers, we believe that unity, academic growth, and strong parent engagement are the cornerstones of student success. I am deeply committed to continuing our path of excellence, where every child is supported, challenged, and celebrated.

This year, I am especially excited about the new events and initiatives we have planned to further connect our families, students, and staff. These opportunities will not only enrich our academic environment but also strengthen the sense of community that makes our school so special.

Program Specialist Message   

Dear Myers Elementary Families,

My name is Neang Tath-Slezak, and I am thrilled to introduce myself as the new Program Specialist at Myers Elementary. With 27 years of experience in education at Myers Elementary, I bring a deep passion for student growth and a strong commitment to partnering with families to help every child reach their full potential.

Before working in the elementary setting, I spent six years as a preschool teacher. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of serving in various educational roles, including Elementary classroom teacher (grades 1st through 5th), a Reading Specialist, and an Instructional Strategist. Each of these experiences has helped shape my understanding of how to support students at all levels—academically, behaviorally, and socially.

I am incredibly excited about this new opportunity at Myers Elementary, where we are dedicated to providing the best possible education in a safe, nurturing environment. My goal is to work closely with you to ensure that every scholar experiences success—not just in the classroom, but in their overall development as confident, respectful, and engaged individuals.
