It's a great way to empower students to take ownership of their behavior and contribute to a supportive learning environment for everyone.

Setting clear learning goals and behavior expectations will develop and strengthen our scholar's social, emotional, and academic goals. Creating a Positive Behavioral Intervention Support (PBIS) will help parents, scholars, and staff maintain a safe and joyous atmosphere, so scholars may strengthen their social skills as well as improve their performance goals. Aligning both home and school expectations will reinforce these goals. Using these techniques listed above will help cultivate a positive intervention system for home and school.

We are dedicated to fostering a positive and supportive learning environment for all students. As part of ongoing efforts to enhance our Positive Behavioral Intervention Support (PBIS) program, the PBIS team created a PBIS Handbook to provide staff with tools to implement this framework. The goal is to create a school-wide system to help our students learn the skills they need to succeed socially, emotionally, and behaviorally. This handbook outlines the support the staff provides students by following the framework.
