• Message from the Principal

    Hello Casey Families,

I am pleased to welcome you to the 2023-2024 school year. We are very excited to be able to say we will welcome our students back in person. As we begin the new school year, it will be very important that we work together to make the transition back to school as safely as possible for our entire school community.

I am excited to be part of the Cougar family and look forward to working with our school community. Our entire Casey staff is committed to making our school a safe place where each and every student is empowered to learn, grow and succeed.

    Respectfully,

    Emily Dominguez

  • Message from the Assistant Principal

I am so proud to be Casey’s Assistant Principal and to have the opportunity to work with all of our wonderful students. To give you some of my background, I graduated with a B.A. in Physical Geography and Urban Planning from California State University, San Bernardino and also earned two M.A.’s, one in Special Education and the other in Educational Leadership from Azusa Pacific University. This is my 25th year in education and my 24th year working in the Rialto Unified School District. During my educational career, I’ve had the roles of high school science teacher, 6th grade middle school teacher, RSP teacher, 5th grade elementary teacher, and for the past twelve years, an assistant principal at various elementary sites. I consider myself lucky to be able to affect so many lives in my role. I truly enjoy working with our students, teachers, and parents at Casey. My goal is to be a support provider to all involved in the education of our youth, and in doing so, providing the best possible educational experience for all. Thank you for welcoming me to Casey this year! We are off to a great start!

    Cordially,

    Mr. Thomas Bashaw
