Mr. Ricardo Garcia

It has been a great pleasure to be serving our Rialto community as an assistant principal at W.A. Carter High School for over a year and a half now. I began my journey in education back in 2002 working as a bilingual educational assistant helping students that were new to the country as they were learning English. I found my passion and began working as a high school Spanish teacher for over 10 years. During my classroom teaching years, I worked as the site’s English Learners Facilitator for over 8 years. I decided to further my career in education and began to work as the site’s program facilitator in which I was in charge of Title I parent groups (SSC, ELAC, AAPAC), testing, budgeting, site’s technology, intern program, English learners, amongst other duties. I possess a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Language and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Literature from Cal State University San Bernardino. I completed a Master’s degree in Educational Administration at the University of Redlands. My passion is to see our students take advantage of the educational opportunities that are out there and fulfill their passions and dreams via an education.
I oversee academic services at Carter High School which include, among other things:
·      Master Schedule
·      Counseling
