Dear LION PRIDE,

My name is Wendy Brody, and I am thrilled to introduce myself as the new Athletic Director at Carter High School. As I embark on my 25th year in education and my 19th year at Carter High School, I bring with me a wealth of experience and a deep passion for athletics.

With over 40 years of experience in various athletic roles—from being an athlete to coaching, to parenting collegiate student-athletes—my journey has been diverse and enriching. Over the past 25 years, I have had the privilege of teaching Physical Education, serving as the ASB Director, being an AVID teacher, and much more. Each of these roles has prepared me for this exciting opportunity to lead the Athletic Department at Carter High School.

I am eager to foster an environment where coaches, student-athletes, parents, and the community can engage in exemplary sportsmanship, compete while building a winning culture, and support the holistic development of our student-athletes. Our focus for the 2024/2025 school year will be on creating opportunities that enhance the student-athlete experience, both on and off the field.
