PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE/MENSAJE DE LA DIRECTORA

Dear Bobcat Families,

Welcome to the 2024-25 school year at Bemis Elementary! As we embark on a new academic school year, I am thrilled to welcome back our returning students and extend a warm welcome to those who are new to our Bemis school community. It is an honor and real privilege to serve as your principal for a fourth year and to work alongside this awesome dedicated staff, supportive parents, and enthusiastic students. As a school, we will focus on academic achievement, student leadership and school safety.

At Bemis Elementary, we are committed to fostering an environment that promotes academic excellence and a love for learning. Our dedicated teachers are focused on providing a rigorous curriculum that challenges and engages students while supporting their individual learning needs. We believe in setting high expectations and providing the necessary support to help each student achieve their full potential. This year, we will continue to implement innovative teaching strategies, integrate technology, and provide enriching learning experiences that encourage critical thinking, creativity, and

Problem-solving.

We believe that every student has the potential to be a leader and make a positive impact in our school and beyond. At Bemis Elementary, we provide numerous opportunities for students to develop leadership skills through involvement in student lead clubs and extracurricular activities. We encourage our students to take initiative, voice their ideas, and collaborate with peers to create a vibrant and inclusive school community. Our goal is to empower students to become confident, responsible, and compassionate leaders who are prepared to make meaningful contributions to their

Community.

Ensuring a safe and secure learning environment is a top priority at Bemis Elementary. We are committed to creating a space where students feel safe, respected, and valued. We have comprehensive safety protocols and procedures, and our staff is trained to respond effectively to any situation. We encourage open communication and collaboration with parents and guardians to maintain a supportive network that prioritizes the well-being of our students.
