Welcome to Kolb Middle School—Home of the Cougars!

It is my honor to serve as the principal of Kolb Middle School, where we are committed to fostering a safe, inclusive, and academically challenging environment for all students. With 19 years in education—including over 11 years in school administration and the last 7 as a principal—I bring a deep commitment to student success and a passion for building strong school communities.

At Kolb, we believe in empowering every student to grow as a learner, a leader, and a valued member of our school. We proudly implement AVID and PBIS to promote college and career readiness, positive behavior, and a supportive school culture. Our dedicated staff partners with families to support academic achievement through high expectations, meaningful relationships, and engaging learning experiences.

We are honored to be recognized as both a California and National School to Watch, and we strive each day to live up to that distinction.
