Welcome to Kolb Middle School!

My name is Dr. Tina Lingenfelter, and I am honored to serve as the Principal of Kolb Middle School — a place that holds a special place in my heart as I am also a proud alumna. With 19 years in education, over 11 years in administration, and 7 years serving as both an Elementary and Middle School Principal over the last 3 years here at Kolb, I am committed to fostering a culture of high expectations for both academics and behavior, while ensuring that every student feels valued and supported.

I am proud to serve as the principal of Kolb Middle School, a school that has earned recognition as both a California and National School to Watch, received AVID Schoolwide honors, and achieved the PBIS Silver Award — accomplishments made possible by the dedication of our students, staff, and families. My goal is to create a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment where all students can thrive, discover their passions, and prepare for a bright future.
