This is my 30th year in Education. I have served as a classroom teacher, Elementary and High School Principal. I have also served at the District Level as an Administrator of Personnel and Human Resources. My purpose is to make sure that all students and staff have a safe, challenging learning environment that allows them to achieve their maximum potential each year! I want each person to feel that they have the ability and agency to set and achieve their goals this school year!

This is my 6th year teaching. I have taught Transitional Kindergarten (TK) for all 6 years, and I have loved every single moment! I am in a privileged position to cultivate student curiosity by engaging them in purposeful play that will build the necessary foundational skills to accomplish their set goals.

This is my 26th year teaching in the Rialto Unified School District.  I taught at Curtis Elementary for 6 years, 10 years at Bemis Elementary and this is my 10th year at Fitzgerald Elementary.  I have taught 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade most of my career.  This is my 3rd year as a Reading Specialist here at Fitzgerald. I love teaching and could not imagine doing anything else for a career.  My hope as an educator is to instill the love of learning in my students and make a difference in their lives. 

I served for 4 years in the US Navy and after my end of obligated service I went back to school and earned my BA in psychology. After working in corporate America for 4 years, I found my passion in teaching and went back to school and earned my teaching credential in early childhood special education. This is my 5th year teaching the SDC preschool program at Fitzgerald elementary. I recognize the need for positive male role models in our early education systems as well as the need for early intervention. I adore my students, appreciate their families, and am blessed to work with such a great group of educators.

I am on my 9th year as a Special Education Teacher and I would not change it for anything in the world! Each day I remind myself of one thing, "If they can't learn the way we teach, we teach the way they learn."

I have 12 years of experience in education here in Southern California. I have taught Preschool through Third Grade. This is my third year teaching First Grade at Fitzgerald Elementary. I love teaching First Grade because I am helping to lay the foundation for many math skills and I get to teach the kids how to read. It brings me such joy when I see everything click for each student!

This is my third year teaching first grade at Fitzgerald Elementary! I truly love teaching first grade because the students are so eager to learn. I love seeing how much the students grow throughout the year!

I have spent 24 years in education. I have taught all grade levels but the majority of years I spent teaching 2nd grade. I find great joy working with young minds!

I am proud to say that I now have over 30 years under my belt and all of my teaching experience has been here in the Rialto Unified School District. I feel very proud to say that I was one of the originals teachers who opened this amazing school, back in 1994. I have spent most of my career teaching 2nd grade, but I have also really enjoyed 3rd too! I feel so fortunate to be in a profession where I can honestly say that each and every day provides completely unpredictable experiences. Kids are such innocent and amazing little people!!!!

I received my BA degree and my elementary teaching credential from Fresno Pacific University. This will be my first year teaching in the Rialto School District. I am super excited for this year and teaching young minds. I can’t wait to see how much students grow throughout the year!

Before pursuing my dream of becoming an elementary school teacher, I worked in the traffic engineering industry for several years and I had the privilege of being a stay at home mom to raise my children. I have worked for the Rialto Unified School District for 7 years and I am excited to be teaching 5th grade! I truly enjoy teaching children and experiencing students' growths and achievements.

I was born in Los Angeles Grew up in Rialto. I have been in education for 15 years, 5 as an Instructional assistant and 10 years as a Classroom Teacher. I have 2 sons, and 2 dogs.

I started at Dunn Elementary in August 1987, as a parent. I have worked for Rialto Unified School District for many years. I was hired in July 1995, as a teacher. I started teaching in 6th grade and have worked with K- 8th grade students throughout the district. I love teaching and working with children.
