Ms. Teresa Capalla
I became a teacher because I love watching the wonder and excitement people feel when they learn something. Everyone can learn, and I enjoy the challenge of helping people do that. Teaching is also my way of investing in the future. My students are game-changers, earth-shakers, and history-makers who are going to change their world, and it is a privilege to be a part of their story.

Mr. Daniel Martinez
Hello! I have been with Rialto Unified since 2015. As a teacher, my driving purpose as an educator is to nourish students' natural curiosity in the hopes that they will achieve all their personal goals and develop into lifelong learners. As a math teacher, I seek to tell the rich story of how cultures from around the world such as India, Greece, China, Africa, the Middle East, and Central America came together to create the intricate fabric of mathematics that we know today!
"Mathematics is not about numbers, equations, computations, or algorithms; it is about understanding" - William Paul Thurston (Fields Medal recipient 1982)
