The program consists of two classes, Healthcare Essentials followed by Nursing Services. My classes are intended for students who have an interest in medicine. They learn about all body systems, possible diseases, treatments and of course, any medical career that focuses on that specific body system.  Students get to practice minor lab procedures in class. 

This program consists of two classes, Pharmacy Clerk followed by Pharmacy Technology HP which qualifies as an honor class!  These classes are intended for students who wish to pursue a career in the medical field or who are just interested in pharmacology and safe practices of medicine.  We learn about a variety of different medications and how they treat illness in the body.  We also learn about reading, writing, and processing prescriptions.  Our labs include basic compounding methods which include making capsules, counting and pouring tablets, and fun projects such as making gummy vitamins.  We will also learn about sterile compounding which is done in hospital pharmacies.
