- Initial Self-Assessment and calibration with Mentor using the RUSD CSTP Rubric (for Year 1s, also using Individual Development Plan - IDP)
- ILP Goals Established Within 60 Days
- Needs Assessment SurvEY
- Induction Teacher's (IT's) will apply strategies/information acquired from Induction sponsored sessions or other PD in their practices.
- Peer Observations (as needed)
- All candidates will be held accountable for Induction Program criteria and requirements (Progress Monitoring).
- Complete mid-year and final Self-Assessments using RUSD CSTP Rubric
- Mid-Year Survey
- Year End Survey (Year 1)
- Exit Interview (Year 2 and ECO)

PS-VTW YEAR 1 & 2 CANDIDATES
- Advisement and Orientation
- Individual Development Plan (IDP) Input
- IT maintains collaboration with a Preliminary Program
- Continued progress towards completion of preliminary program requirements
- Induction Mentoring Program:
- Mentoring Support (ILP, Goal Setting, Reflective Practices)
- Individual Face-to-Face 24 hours/year
- Virtual Meetings
- Modeling/Co-Planning/ Co-Teaching
- Observations/Debriefs
- Phone Conferences
- Other agreed upon mentoring opportunities
- Mentoring Support (ILP, Goal Setting, Reflective Practices)
- Induction Group Mentoring, Webinars, and Collaborative Cohorts based on IDP & ILP goals and candidate needs:
- Minimum 20 hrs. that includes at least 4 hours of Induction Program sponsored mentoring sessions
- Complete at least 2 Inquiry Cycles
- Video Observations with Formal Lesson Plan Format
- Complete End of Year Reflection Questions

- Individual Face-to-Face 24 hours/year for Year 2s; 30 hours/year for ECOs

- Other agreed upon mentoring opportunities
- Induction Group Mentoring, Webinars, and Collaborative Cohorts based on ILP Goals and candidate needs:
- Year 2 - Minimum 12 hrs. that include at least 2 Induction sponsored mentoring sessions
- ECO – Minimum 24 hrs. that include at least 6 Induction Collaborative Mentoring sessions
- Required ECO Orientation Session
- Complete 2 Instructional Inquiry Cycles
- Video Observations with Formal Lesson Plan Format
- Complete End of Program Reflective Questions
