  • ALL  INDUCTION CANDIDATES

    • Mentor Match within 30 days
    • Initial Self-Assessment and calibration with Mentor using the RUSD CSTP Rubric (for Year 1s, also using Individual Development Plan - IDP)
    • ILP Goals Established Within 60 Days 
    • Complete Needs Assessment Survey 
    • IT’s will apply strategies/information acquired from Induction sponsored sessions or other PD in their practices.
    • Peer Observations will be provided as available
    • All candidates will be held accountable for Induction criteria and requirements (Progress Monitoring). 
    • Complete mid-year and final Self-Assessments using RUSD CSTP Rubric 
    • Complete Mid-Year Survey
    • Complete Year End Survey (Year 1) 
    • Complete End of Program Survey (Year 2 and ECO)
    • Complete Mentor Satisfaction Survey 
    • Will be provided a Portability Document

  • YEAR  1  CANDIDATE

    • Advisement and Orientation
    • Induction Development Plan (IDP) input
    • Induction Mentoring Support- Individual face to face 24 hours per year:
      • ILP, Goal Setting, Reflecting
      • Modeling/Co-Planning/ Co-Teaching
      • Observations/Debriefs
      • Other agreed upon mentoring opportunities
    • Professional Growth: Induction Group Mentoring, Webinars and Collaborative Cohorts based on IDP & ILP goals and candidate needs
      • Minimum 20 hrs.  that includes at least 3 hours of Induction sponsored events
    • Complete 2 Instructional Inquiry Cycles
    • Video Observations with Formal Lesson Plan 
    • Complete End of Year Reflection Questions

  • CONTINUING TEACHERS/ ECO  CANDIDATES

    • Advisement 
    • Induction Mentoring Support- Individual face to face 24 hours per year:
      • ILP, Goal Setting, Reflecting
      • Modeling/Co-Planning/ Co-Teaching
      • Observations/Debriefs
      • Other agreed upon mentoring opportunities
    • Professional Growth: Induction Group Mentoring, Webinars and Collaborative Cohorts based on IDP & ILP goals and candidate need
      • Year 2 - Minimum 12 hrs. that includes at least 2 hours of Induction sponsored event
    • Complete 2  Instructional Inquiry Cycles
    • Video Observations with Formal Lesson Plan 
    • Complete End of Program Reflection Questions

  • EARLY COMPLETION OPTION (ECO) CANDIDATES

    • ECO Only: Submission & Approval of Application Process and Orientation
      • Induction Mentoring Support- Individual face to face 30 hours per year
      • Induction Group Mentoring, Webinars and Collaborative Cohorts based on IDP & ILP goals and candidates need
        • ECO – Minimum  32 hrs. that includes at least 5 hours of Induction sponsored
