  • ALL  INDUCTION CANDIDATES


    All outstanding requirements MUST be completed before Rialto USD can apply for your Clear Credential

    • Mentor Match within 30 days
    • Self-Assessment on CSTP Elements and calibration with Mentor using the CSTP Level Descriptors
    • Complete PLE Needs Assessment Survey 
    • Application of  strategies/information acquired from Induction Professional Learning Experiences or other PLE in their practices
    • Peer Observations will be provided as available
    • All candidates will be held accountable for the Induction Program criteria and requirements.
    • Complete Mid-Year Survey
    • Complete Year-End Survey (Year 1) 
    • Complete End of Program Survey (Year 2 and ECO)
    • Complete Mentor Satisfaction Survey 
    • Be provided with a Portability Document
     
  • YEAR  1  CANDIDATE


    • Advisement and Orientation
    • Induction Development Plan (IDP)
    • Induction Mentoring Support- Individual Face-to-Face 
      • 24 Hours Per Year                  
        • ILP, Goal Setting, Reflecting
        • Modeling/ Co-Planning/ Co-Teaching
        • Observations & Debriefs
        • Other Agreed-upon Mentoring Opportunities
    • Professional Learning Experiences
      • Minimum 20 hours that include at least 2 Induction-sponsored Professional Learning Experiences
        • Induction Group Mentoring, and Collaborative Cohorts based on ILP Goals and Candidate Needs
    • Complete 2 Instructional Inquiry Cycles 
    • Video Observations with Formal Lesson Plan 
    • Complete End of Year Reflection Questions
    • Professional Growth on the Induction Program Teacher Competency Rubric
  • YEAR 2  CANDIDATES


    • Advisement
