• Kindness Connection: Clothing and More

    clothing

Kindness Connection is a collaborative effort between the Rialto Unified School District and the Community to support students and families who need emergency supplies and/or attire. To identify these students, Student Services and Child Welfare and Attendance, work hand-in-hand with school Administrators, Counselors, Teachers, and Support Staff to identify these students and families. Together we collect new clothing as well as brand new shoes, socks, undergarments, hygiene kits, backpacks with school supplies and other related accessories.

    A Unique Experience

Kindness Connection provides a unique atmosphere in which the students and their family members can find the clothing and items that they need. We focus on maintaining privacy and dignity when serving those who come to us for help. For this reason, students and family members are welcomed, BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. Our Student Services and Child Welfare and Attendance Staff will work one-on-one with you to help meet your needs.

    How Do You Qualify?

In order to qualify, complete the application on the other side of this brochure and submit it to your school site representative. They in turn will submit it to Kindness Connection on your behalf. All referrals are kept confidential.

How Long Can I Receive Support

Because our goal is to support families throughout the Rialto Unified School District, distribution of supplies and/or attire will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

  • Mission

With the support of our District employees, community, and at no cost to our students, Kindness Connection provides students in need with everyday clothes, shoes and hygiene items. We believe that by providing this much needed assistance, we promote a more positive experience for all students in the Rialto Unified School District.
