The self-assessment allows teachers to determine their level of practice for each CSTP standard. Using their own analysis of skills, teachers are able to create goals to develop to the next level.

INDIVIDUALIZED LEARNING PLAN (ILP)
The Individualized Learning Plan (ILP) embraces the cyclic concept of PLAN > TEACH > REFLECT > APPLY with a chosen CSTP focus. The Induction Teacher will record a variety of strategies to develop their skills using the ILP.

ILP EVIDENCE & DATA TRACKER
Along with the ILP, Induction Teachers hyperlink lesson plans or agendas, resources used during implementation, visuals, student work samples, or any spreadsheets that track student data. Reflecting on the evidence collected during implementation provides the teacher the opportunity to authentically analyze the effectiveness of their lesson.

INSTRUCTIONAL LESSON DESIGN
Designing Engaging Learning Experiences (DELE) is a lesson planning template that provides a framework for structured learning experiences. Induction teachers use the DELE to incorporate 21st century learning skills, considerations for various student populations, effective instructional and engaging strategies, and assessments.

REFLECTIVE JOURNAL
Induction teachers are provided weekly opportunities to reflect on their CSTPS and discuss any glows, discoveries or challenges with their mentors. These just-in-time coaching opportunities are recorded in the reflective journal along with observations by the Induction mentor.

Induction teachers document attendance at Professional Development events and connect those events to their CSTP development.
